Debby Wallace McGehee was born in Boise, Idaho. She lived as a child in Boise, Idaho; Kennewick, Washington; and Billings, Montana. As an adult she has lived in Eugene, Oregon; Portland, Oregon; and she currently resides in Mukilteo, Washington, near Puget Sound. Debby developed an interest in art at an early age. Her family and instructors encouraged here to paint what ever she liked. She always found inspiration in the landscape near by. I love the shapes, colors, light and shadows of the land. I like to add a lot of color, some soul and a little of myself to the scenes I paint. The process of painting brightens my life and I'm happy if the finished painting stirs a little something in yours. Notecards and prints are available of all the images in the gallery.
