I have spent the biggest part of my life as a Wife and Mom, Banker and now Grandma. About 10 years ago I decided "Now it's time to paint!" My family has been behind me 100%, even when I paint something not so wonderful. But my Husband Dick, has been my #1 fan. He tells me when he thinks a painting is good, but he's not afraid to say "Yikes". That's a good thing. I haven't had any college training. I attended classes taught by Doris Jean Colvin for may years and feel that I learned a lot from her. I am now a part of a small painting group. We call ourselves DYVA (Deeva) Delicate Yet Vibrant Art" Diane Steele, Claire Ridlon, Debby McGehee, and Janis Graves. Watch for their web pages too. |
