Being an artist is something that I have enjoyed since childhood. However didn't think of it as a life long passion, of enjoyment and relaxation. It has become a great getaway into the colors, seasons and people that enjoy the most. I live with my inspiration all around me; my husband, children, grandchildren and family. Along with our small farm that has a few animals: a cow named Butterfly, a pony named Murphy, two dogs named G and Highway, many chickens and one determined rabbit. My home and studio are located in Woodinville, Washington. I have studied at Shoreline Community College and studied under Doris Jean Colvin. The last couple years a few of us have developed an artist group to meet once a week to inspire each other. Along with the inspiration of the work, I have done some commissions. In the past few years, working mostly in pastels, I have become an award-winning artist. |
